Materials

• 12” x 12” Black Shadowbox
• Acrylic Paint-Americana/Snow White
• Unfinished Wood Anchor
• Jute- 3 Ply
• Glossy Accents
• Paper Trimmer
• Tape Runner/Double Sided Tape
• Paper-Authentique/Seaside (Captain, Buoy, Waterfront, Coastal)
• Alphabet Stickers-Doodlebug (Ladybug Skinny)
• Cardstock-Red
• Paint Brush
• Foam Squares

Directions

1. Using the snow white acrylic paint, paint the anchor. Set aside to dry.
2. Remove the back from the shadowbox. Set aside.
3. Use the anchor patterned paper as the base for the layout.
4. Cut the blue striped paper to measure 5” x 12”. Adhere to the top of the anchor paper, vertically, to the right hand side, using tape runner.
5. Cut a strip of the dotted paper to measure 1/2” x 12”. Adhere vertically, to the left side of the layout.
6. Cut three pieces of the red cardstock to measure 4-1/2” x 6-1/2”. Mat 4x6 photos on the cardstock. Adhere to the layout. Adhere the vertical photo using foam squares.
7. Wrap the middle of the wood anchor with jute. Adhere the anchor to the layout using foam squares (3 squares stacked on top of each other).
8. Place the layout in the back, placing the backing into the shadowbox.
9. Using the alphabet stickers, apply the title to the front of the glass to say “our dad, our anchor”.
10. Adhere jute along the inside border of the shadowbox glass using Glossy Accents. Let dry.
11. Cut strips of the star patterned paper to measure 5/8” wide. Adhere to the front face of the shadowbox frame, using Glossy Accents.
12. Display.
