Create Pennant Chalkboard
Project Sheet: cd536
Materials
• 12x12 wood inlay frame
• Chalkboard Spray Paint
• Rick Rack Ribbon
• Coordinating Papers
• "Create" wood plaque
• White paint
• Hot Glue
Directions
1. Tape off the frame part of the board. Spray paint the inside of frame with chalkboard spray paint until evenly coated. Allow to dry.
2. Once chalkboard paint is dry, remove tape and paint the rest of the frame white to match the "Create" plaque. Allow to dry.
3. Use hot glue on the back of "Create" plaque and adhere to lower right hand corner of the board.
4. Cut triangles out of coordinating paper to create the pennants. With the tip of the triangle pointing downward, (right side of patterned paper facing you) apply a line of hot glue to the top wide edge of triangle. Place rick rack ribbon over the line of glue. The triangle should look as though it is coming out from behind the ribbon.
5. Continue gluing on triangles until they cover the front of your frame with the ribbon making a slight dip.
6. Secure ribbon to side of frame using a line of glue.
