Materials

1/2 yard Ruffle Fabric

• Sewing Machine/Thread

Directions

1. Cut two pieces from the ruffle fabric to 8" (about six ruffles wide) by 48" long. Seam pieces together to create one long piece.

2. Create the 1st pointed tip of folding the top right-hand corner across the width to the opposite side, right sides together and positioning the ruffles down toward the point. Scrunch the ruffles together at the point. Pin in place.

3. Repeat process to create 2nd pointed tip. Fold the opposite direction using the bottom left-hand corder to form the second tip of the scarf, and repeat step 2.

4. Stitch with a 1/2" seam allowance, starting at the pointed tip and continuing to the edge of the original corner. Stop 1/2" from the corner, with the needle down into the fabric.

5. Pivot the fabric and continue sewing with the same seam allowance, joining the two long sides of the fabric. Pin the sides together to an approximate center of the scarf. Repeat process from the second pointed tip. Stitch from each end, leaving a small opening the center of the scarf to turn fabric right side out.

6. Hand stitch small opening shut after fabric has been turned.
