Materials

  • Hanging Plaque - CAL/63
  • Acrylic Paint (Clover) - FolkArt
  • Paper (In Season) - Reminise
  • 12" Gone Fishing Wood Cut Out
  • Gel Stain (Oak)- DecoArt
  • Jute (3-ply) - Darice
  • Gems (Black)- Triveni
  • Paint Brush
  • Glossy Accents
  • E6000 Adhesive
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Small File/Awl
  • Photos

Directions

  1. Remove the hardware and rings from the plaque.  Set aside.
  2. Apply Gel Stain to the hanging plaque using a foam brush.  Let dry.
  3. Paint the surface of the "Gone Fishing" wood cut out using the Clover Acrylic Paint.  Let dry.
  4. Place the cut out face down on hunting patterned paper.  Trace around the fish piece using a pencil and cut out with a scissors.  Adhere to the top of the fish on the cut out using Glossy Accents. 
  5. Add gem to the fish for the "eye".
  6. Adhere the cut out to the front of the plaque using E6000 Adhesive.  Let dry.
  7. Place the small wood pieces from the plaque face down on top of desired photos, trace around with a pencil.  Cut out with a scissors.  Adhere to the small wood pieces using Glossy Accents.  Let dry.
  8. Place the hardware and the rings back onto the plaque. 
  9. Poke holes though the photos on smaller wood pieces using small file/awl and attach to the rings.
  10. Add jute to the hardware on top, tying into a bow for hanging. Also tie some around every other ring.
  11. Display.
