Tooth Fairy Pillow
Project Sheet: cd1530
• 2 sheets light felt
• Pink felt
• White felt
• Google eyes
• ½ yard ribbon
1. From light felt, cut out two templates of the tooth. From the pink, cut two 2.5” X 3.5” squares and two small circles. From white cut the small teeth.
2. On the front tooth cut on the cutting line. On inside, lay one of the pink squares along the bottom of mouth line. From outside sew in place, trim any excess from top of seam line. On inside, lay the second pink square along the top mouth line. From outside, slip the white teeth just between the mouth and outside, sew in place. Now on inside, sew along the sides and bottom of the two pink squares to create the tooth pocket. (the 1st square will be longer than the 2nd—sew along the 2nd square base and trim the 1st square) On the outside, sew the two circles just over the corners of the mouth.
3. Cut the ribbon to desired length to fit over a doorknob or bedpost. Pin into place at center top of tooth. Fold down so that you can sew the tooth together without catching the ribbon in the seam. Right sides together, sew the tooth front and back together, leaving a three inch opening on the side for turning. Clip curves and turn inside right. Stuff the tooth. Slip stitch the opening closed. Glue the google eyes in place.
4. Now the Tooth Fairy won’t have to search in vain for a tiny tooth lost under a pillow.
