ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the liquidation of Crafts Direct, a beloved fixture in the Saint Cloud community for the past 33 years.

Crafts Direct has been more than just a store; it has been a beacon of creativity and inspiration since its inception on July 5, 1990, when John and Diane Schlecht embarked on their dream of bringing quality craft supplies and experiences to our community. From its humble beginnings as Ben Franklin Crafts to its evolution into Crafts Direct, the store has remained a family affair, with multiple generations working together to serve our customers.

Over the years, Crafts Direct has become synonymous with quality products, creative events, and community investment. We are immensely proud of the impact we have had on the Saint Cloud area and beyond. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of our loyal customers and the dedication of our hardworking staff.

Unfortunately, the current financial climate and shifts in retail shopping have presented insurmountable challenges, forcing us to make the difficult decision to close our doors permanently. While this decision weighs heavily on us, we are grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this community for over three decades.

Before officially closing our doors, we will have a liquidation sale, starting Thursday, April 11th. We will be closed April 8th, 9th, and 10th in preparation for the sale. All of our merchandise will be significantly discounted. All fixtures and office equipment will also be for sale. This will be an opportunity to take advantage of big discounts across all departments and to say goodbye to Crafts Direct.

For further information and updates on the closing sale, please visit craftsdirect.com or visit our social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram.

To our wonderful customers, current and past team members, and community, we extend our deepest gratitude for your support and patronage over the years. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you, and we will cherish the memories we have made together.

Sincerely,

The Schlecht Families

John, Diane, Scott, Lori, Jen, Jason and Kristine
